🎯PURPOSE OF SHOCK CLOCK MAX:

Pavlok Inventor Maneesh Sethi, a Decades Long Successful Life Hacker, created the Shock Clock Max (SCM) because a user like you told him,

"It's very hard to get started with Pavlok right outta the Box"

One of the Major issues with previous Pavlok Devices is frustration with Bluetooth Pairing to your smartphone. This has less to do with Pavlok than it has to do with getting Bluetooth to work with so many types of Smartphone Hardware.

SCM was designed with out-of-the box use as a CORE feature. It can be set up independent of a smartphone.

BONUS features will still require a smartphone.

KNOWN BUGS/ISSUES

ZAP FROM CASE/ SCREEN GAP
USER STORY:

"Sometimes if I touch the SCMax I receive a small discharge without pressing any button or this being programmed"
"The screen has a gap at the lower right corner as shown in the attached photos"

PAVLOK:
Problem Report, Display Lifting: Over the last several days, through the weekend, we have investigated the issue of SCM display lenses becoming raised or tilted in many units. This has been reported from the field, and has been encountered in production.
This affects about 400 units of our 2000 initial production run.
If You have this issue with your SC Max pls directly email [email protected] and he will set up a replacement unit for you.

ALARM GUARANTEES

That's what the firmware team is working on right now
We should have a couple of alarm guarantees next week
Wed. Mar. 13 2024 EST

NEWS
We plan to do escalation first, since it's easiest, then light sleep.

Jumping Jacks should be fairly straightforward but may need a bit more time for UI integration, as it needs to be exposed to users in the alarm dialog as well as needing more configuration (e.g. fields to let users enable, select difficulty etc).

Smart Alarms is likely similar to JJ, though we haven't thought through the details of how it will integrate with the rest of alarm lifetimes yet.

SLEEP TRACKING

USER STORY:
"If I am not wearing the SCMax it indicates a message that I am sleeping. This morning while I was awake and active while wearing the SCMax it indicated that I was sleeping"

"sleep monitoring on the SCMax screen is not clear and difficult to read because there are no abscissas and ordinates on the graph"

Wed. Mar. 6 2024 EST

PAVLOK:
The current version of sleep tracking is not very accurate as it uses only the device accelerometer and not the heart rate sensor yet, so it doesn’t make a difference between the device on your hand while you’re asleep vs when it’s on the desk as in both cases it’s very small movement on the accelerometer of the device. We’re working on adding the heart rate monitoring so that this would be fixed and the sleep tracking would be more accurate. We will also be including a progress bar on the sleep details page when the app is "uploading diagnostic logs"
Wed. Mar. 6 2024 EST

-------------------------------------------
TUNES

USER STORY:
"there are a lot of Tunes but I can't find a place to listen to them before choosing"
Wed. Mar. 6 2024 EST

PAVLOK
Right now, you can’t. We will eventually be adding a stimulus “preview” that will do this. Technically, in the Alarm list you can long press the enter on any alarm and it will fire immediately. (Possibly a way to get out of a bad date….)
Wed. Mar. 13 2024 EST

TUNE INDEX:

  1. Negative

  2. Positive

  3. Tequila

  4. “Theme"

ZAP FROM APP
USER STORY:
Will my Boxing Coach be able to Zap me if I don't protect my head and bring my hands down?

Is there a faster way for him to zap me without having to install an app?

Thu. Mar. 7 2024 EST

PAVLOK:
We've had a few Elite Athletes use the Pavlok 3 the way you are thinking of using it with your Shock Clock Max.

Real time Pain Feedback from a Coach

You cannot do this with the current software on Shock Clock Max It will be released in the coming months though.

There will always be a 500 ms delay even if you push the button which is the fastest way. If you do it from the app the delay would be even longer from 1000 to 5000 ms.

You can do this with a Pavlok 3 from the app.

TESTING MENU ITEM

USER STORY:
“What is the testing button for? If you go down obviously I understand you can set the strength of the vibe beep or zap, What is that underneath it? Flash? Accell? Mic? “

Fri. Mar. 15 2024 EST

PAVLOK:
You are welcome to ignore them (or technical users can enjoy playing with them).

Flash is the result of an internal flash memory test (it had better say “pass”).
Accel shows the accelerometer output in x/y/z axes.
Mic is a microphone level when on.
PPG is the future heart rate sensor.
