Why it so Expensive?

If you had a cheaper version that just did a shock at a predetermined time without the rest of the tracking and other bio stuff, I probably would have chosen that

We've tried to go cheaper in the past but the current price is the equilibrium between what it costs to make and what it costs to keep the company going. The Zap is 90% of the cost.

All the other stuff is Bonus.

I see. That makes plenty of sense.

Why is it that electric shock collars for dogs can sell for 30 bucks then? Is it an economy of scale thing?

Or is it that you guys use much better materials?

Because if the materials are safer than whatever China uses, that's pretty important

Dog Shock Collars are about 10 times stronger and quality control is not great.
Dog's can't vocalize their feelings.

Humans are very vocal.
It turns out to be very difficult to get just the right amount of stimulus and to be extremely safe about not going beyond that level.

The Quality Control and Assembly is done in Canada because we can't trust Chinese Quality Control.

Also, I want to say: thank you for adding all the other features

If it costs so much just for the spark, going the extra mile to add the features for people is pretty awesome.

Thanks for Understanding. Makes sense if you realize you can get all those other features from any cheap Chinese wearble. You can't get the Zap anywhere els
