PAVLOK

A new habit I am developing is consistent food journaling for accountability as part of my weight loss goal

A habit I'm working to break is emotional eating. I'm not sure how to use Pavlok for that though. Maybe periodically alert myself to increase mindfulness to help with that

Very cool. Are you doing written or taking pics of anything you eat before you eat it. (for your food journal)

Emotional eating is tough because your higher mind gets shut off by your emotional mind.

What i've found that helped is to write a very small story of the emotional eating after the fact.
you especially wanna capture what happened just before you emotionally ate.

If you have a friend you trust you can send create a whatsapp group just for you to drop your food pics into.
It helps to have an accountability buddy.

Distracting ourselves from uncomfortable emotions is one of the chief causes of overeating.
Boredom is also a big cause. as in eating to entertain ourselves.
