Welcome to the Exhilarating World of Jumping Jacks Wake up!

This feature ensures you wake up feeling active and energized. Let’s walk through how to set up and deactivate the Jumping Jacks alarm in a way that’s easy to understand and follow.

---

What is the Jumping Jacks Alarm?

With the Jumping Jacks alarm, you can no longer snooze. The only way to stop the alarm is by performing several jumping jacks. Depending on the strength of your movements, you'll need to do between 3 and 10 jumping jacks. Here’s a quick guide to make sure you do it right:

Arm Swings:

Keep your arms straight and swing them from high to low in a full arc.

No Chicken Wings:

Fully extend your arms. Partial swings won't count.

Maximum:
Do not set more than 20 jumping jacks. We recommend 10 for most users.

How does it count Jumping Jacks?

Example:

10 Arm Swings in 8 Seconds:
Completing 10 straight-arm 90-degree arm swings in 8 seconds will stop the alarm.

13 Swings in 10 Seconds:
Taking 10 seconds will require approximately 13 swings due to pauses being discounted.

Progress Tracking:
A progress bar on the screen displays how many swings or how much energy you’ve generated.

Movement Detection:
The Pavlok measures your arm swings and kinetic energy level.

Setting Up Jumping Jacks

Here’s how you can set the Jumping Jacks alarm on your Device:

Access Alarm Settings:
Navigate to the alarm settings through the App menu.

Select Jumping Jacks:
Choose Jumping Jacks as your Stop Mode.

Adjust Number:
Set the number of jumping jacks. Remember, 3–10 is ideal, do not exceed 20.

Save Settings:
Confirm and save your settings.

---

Deactivating the Alarm

To stop the alarm, perform the required number of jumping jacks with full arm swings:

Start Moving:

Once the alarm sounds, extend your arms and start swinging them from high to low.

Monitor Progress:
Watch the progress bar to see how close you are to stopping the alarm.

Finish Strong:
Continue until you’ve met the kinetic energy level or number of swings needed to silence the alarm.

---

Tips and Tricks

Consistency is Key:

Keep your swings consistent and full.

Start with 10:
Begin with 10 jumping jacks to gauge your performance and adjust as needed.

Avoid Overexertion:
There's no need to set extreme numbers. Quality over quantity ensures you wake up effectively.

Visualization:

A progress bar on the screen will help you track your swings and energy easily.

By keeping your movements deliberate and strong, you’ll wake up not just on time, but with a burst of energy to kick-start your day.

Conclusion

The Jumping Jacks alarm on SCM is designed to ensure you wake up actively and stay awake. Set it wisely, follow the tips, and swing those arms with vigor for an effective wake-up routine.
