Charging Specs

USER:

I'm just wondering about charging specifications for the Shock Clock 3, I have a 68w charger right now and want to know if that would damage it or not?

PAVLOK:

That will not harm a Pavlok. The way USB chargers work is that the device being charged controls how much power goes into the battery.

The wattage of a charger is just the maximum it can supply if demanded.

All Pavloks draw less than half a watt, so any charger or USB port can safely charge any Pavlok.

It is OK to have way more charger wattage than you need. The Pavlok only draws the power that it needs, just like you you can plug a night light or a large power tool into the same electrical socket and they are all OK.
